Wenlock Poetry Festival returns with a weekend of dynamic
and thought provoking events with activities for all ages.
This year performer and musician Benjamin Zephaniah
heads our line-up, which also includes our founding patron
and the Poet Laureate CarolAnn Duffy, reading with special
guests Imtiaz Dharker and Sean Borodale. The weekend will
be packed with other prestigious performers, and brimming
with readings, workshops and events taking place around
the town of Much Wenlock. Kit Wright will be judging our
Children & Young People’s Poetry Competition this year
and, if you feelinspired to develop your own writing and
poetry skills (or learn some new ones), then we have a
diverse programme of workshops on offer.
